Trailer Work

We had a great time working on this trailer for Yellow Dog Motorsports in Alexander, NC. Kyle Domagala is a novice driver at the North Carolina Quarter Midget Track (NCQMA) located in Salisbury, NC. Check out their webpage at www.blueridgekennels.biz to learn more about Kyle. TZN Motorsports is looking forward to visiting NCQMA later this year!

Also pictured below is the trailer for Myles Chandler of Ft. Wayne, IN. He chose orange vinyl to match the decals we made for his car.

In addition to this trailer, we have done trailers for racers in Kokomo, IN and Folsom, CA.

Quarter Midgets

One of our favorite Quarter Midgets that we have decaled belongs to Myles Chandler from Fort Wayne, IN. Myles is in his novice year at Kokomo (KQMC) and began his year with a brand new car with a black body and an orange frame. We really wanted to pull out the orange frame onto the black body, so we used an orange refraction metalic vinyl to create orange hood flames. The eagle is a favorite in the Chandler family, so we created a three color flaming eagle decal for the side of the car. Again, we used the orange refraction metalic vinyl and paried it with a silver vinyl. No car is complete without the driver name, so we added it right above the flaming eagle. Myles also asked for his name and number 83 for his helmet. Shortly after these decals were applied Myles won his first race!

Of course, we did the decal work for our own cars. These Cheetah's were purchased used from a driver in Pennsylvania. He was a good driver, but just like any Quarter MIdget there had been some damage to the body. After some body work and painting, we were able to use our vinyl decals to not only make Blaze's car look great, but also to hide some of the imperfections in the car body. Blaze's Jr. Honda car sported what was intended to be an Indianapolis Colts special look for the 2005 Ft. Wayne Indoor Rumble, but he received so much attention that we decided to keep the look for the 2006 season. We used a bright blue vinyl for Zachary's name and the "Blaze" logo on the right sind of the car. The same bright blue vinyl was used to cut a tribal flame to cover a few cracks in the tail, as well as the "Smoke and Blaze" decal.

Zachary chose an orange and green color scheme for his Light 160 car to honor 2 of his favorite drivers, Tony Stewart and J.J. Yeley (as well as Bobby LaBonte). We chose a green metallic diamond plate vinyl to go on the orange car body. We began with intertwining flames moving up the hood of the car. Since the cars are Cheetah Chassis, we thought it would be most appropriate to put a metallic green flaming cheetah on the right side of the car. As you can see, we have also created decals for Hoosier Tire and Impact Racing, two of our favorite suppliers.

We don't just do whole cars...we also do piece work for cars. Arica and Kyra both drive black Quarter Midgets at the Kokomo, IN track. They each needed something a little special that would stand out on their black cars. Arica wanted her car number to be "pink and sparkly" so we chose a hot pink refraction metallic vinyl for her 99. Arica also wanted a flaming butterfly for the side of her car and chose another special vinyl. The flaming butterfly was cut in a vinyl that is called "oil slick" because it is metallic silver but turns pink, blue, and green as it shifts in the light. Kyra needed her name on the side of her car and asked for us to use the same hot pink refraction metallic vinyl that Arica chose. Kyra wanted a "girly font" used for her name, even though Dad was not so sure. The design that we produced made both Kyra and Dad happy.

Other Race Cars

We don't just do Quarter Midgets! We recently did some work for Bandolero driver Monica Kunkel from Illinois. She has not been able to get on the track as much this summer due to the weather. Keep watching our website for photos of Monica's car.
