Koko the Race Kitty
On August 6, 2006, my Dad and I went to help with the Kokomo Regional Race. I was not racing that day because I had an ear infection the week before and we didn't think driving around in a circle would be a good idea. When we got to the track we found out that someone had dumped some kittens at the track the night before...the kittens were running around in between all the cars and handlers. I adopted this one and named her Koko Mo. She quickly became part of the family, and she sleeps on my bed every night. We recently caught her sitting in my new race car seat, and had to take a picture. I didn't have too many victories on the track in 2006, but Koko is better than any trophy.
2006 Allstate 400 at the Brickyard
This August I went to the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard with my Dad, Step-Mom, Mom, Step-Dad, Grandparents, and older brother. It was the first time I had attended a NASCAR Cup Race. It was very exciting to watch, but I couldn't help wondering how exciting it would be to drive in the race...
July 8-9, 2006
This was a busy weekend with 2 race days. Of course, there is a lot of waiting, as you can see in the first picture. Here I am lining up for the Jr. Honda race, and then taking the lead at the beginning of the race.
Dad says I am looking better in my 160 every time I take the track. Dad is also learning a lot about the 160 car.

Visit to Rockville Speedway- July 15, 2006
Zachary visited the Rockville Speedway to see his friend Monica Kunkel race in her Bandolero. While there, he got a chance to sit in Monica's car. Zachary also took Monica a Good Luck banner that he helped make.
Eldora Race- June 7, 2006
Zachary attended the Nextel Prelude to a Dream at Eldora Speedway on June 7, 2006. The race was ultimately postponed until September due to the rain. Even with the rain, Zachary had a great time seeing all the Nextel drivers at the track- specifically Bobby Labonte and Tony Stewart. This photo was taken while Zachary stood at Bobby's souviner trailer during one of the many rain delays.
